View supporter perks▸What is DTV?
DTV is a human-curated music video channel app. You build channels by selecting artists, then DTV finds and maintains playable videos.
▸How do I add artists?
Use the Import tab: add artists manually, import from Spotify, or generate candidates from an AI prompt. Then click Save draft to persist changes.
▸Why did AI generate fewer than 50 artists?
DTV prefers quality over filler. Ambiguous or low-confidence names are filtered out, so you may get fewer suggestions. You can always add more manually.
▸Why do some videos get skipped during playback?
Some YouTube videos are unavailable for embedding or become restricted. DTV automatically skips failed items and can mark incorrect mappings to keep playback clean.
▸What is the No videos tab for?
It shows artists in your channel with no playable videos. You can run IMVDB and YouTube fallback ingest there to fill gaps.
▸Do I need to click Save after importing or generating?
Yes. Imports/generation first create staged draft changes. Click Save draft (or Save & find videos) to commit them.
▸Does DTV support account sign-in with email?
Yes. DTV supports email sign-up/sign-in, verification flows, and password reset. OAuth providers can be enabled based on environment readiness.
▸What do supporters get?
Supporters can create one public channel, export channel mixes to YouTube playlists, and use supporter tools like YouTube fallback ingest. Core watching remains open to everyone.
▸How is SEO handled on DTV?
DTV includes metadata, sitemap, robots rules, and structured data where relevant. FAQ content is also marked with FAQPage schema.
